Lorena, could you please share your credentials, like usmle scores, usce and visa requirements and where and what specialty you matched in. Would help me figure out where my app was lacking....Thanks!

congrats lorena. anyway, from what i read you should call the PD now or tom just to express your enthusiasm for getting matched and just inform them how you could be contacted if there's any additional info they need. then send out a letter as well. realistically, they would still be probably hard to reach right now since many might still be inquiring regarding openings and/or if they got invited to attend the match ceremonies for AMGs. i guess leaving a message would suffice and still leave a good impression. god bless!

Thank you guys!! The PD from my program called me the same day, I was suprised and almost speechless. rashmi_k3... What are you talking about "going to better places"? have you been in Santa Barbara?? have you been at Cottage hospital? It is gorgeous! It is exactly where I wanted to be and I couldnt be happier! . Maybe you matched at one of the top programs in the country? where did you match? Thank you and good luck for you too
