sorry for the very late reply..ur scores r very good..the only thing going against u is ur grad. year..but if u have been doing US PhD n that too with several publications..ur chances r bright...try to get some good LOR's n if possible try to get some hands on clinical experience too..u will have to explain the gap n show the programs that u have been in touch with medicine all these years ..hope this helps..good luck

I would like to apply Internal Medicine. Do you think family medicine clinical experience will help my internal medicine application?

Yes it should help u while applying to IM..coz any experience in clinical setting in US is better than NO experience at all..u know wat I mean...plus it depends if it was an externship or observership...good luck..u r all set to go for year 2007 n im sure u'll get the program of ur choice too
