Do u need to get a temporary licence prior to applying for H1 visa for a residency position in Michigan? If yes, how long does it take to get it? thank u so much!!!!!

No idea boss. Why dont you go go michigan licensing board. they must have all the information righ tthere. Good luck

Yes you need your state license before you can apply for H1B. State license in Michigan takes 4-6 weeks once you have submitted all the required documents to the state licensing board. They need direct verification of your medical education from your medical school and that might take long depending on your medical school. Hope this helps.
