what do we do on day 2 of scramble

is the approach on day 2 different as most of us already contacted every1 on day 1. some programs told me they will back to us on the 15th.

also what about random positions opening up after the scramble??

I guess we can only pray and hope that something happens. I woke up at 425 am Pacific time, and I jumped on the list to start calling again. Well, the NRMP list doesn't really reflect the reality. They still show unfilled spots that are already filled since yesterday and supposedly the list is being updated every hour. The anesthesia list for instance is the least updated so to speak. It still shows the same thing as it did yesterday since a little bit after noon time, but it's not real. So, as I said, I'm just going to pray, and hope there will be something after the scramble.

They help for providing you with a list of vacancies after a scramble, I think. Do check it up, and yes..I think you got to be enrolled in that a bit earlier to stand a better chance. Try your luck.
