A baby come to your clinic with loud cough that resembles the barking of a seal, difficulty breathing, and a grunting noise or wheezing during breathing. What is the dx? And the secondary question they WILL ask is is it enveloped and what is the structure? A-bronchitis B- croup C- Pneumonia D- whooping cough E- Asthma

Agree with you, croup (laryngotracheobronchitis) Maybe due to RSV or parainfluenza. Single stranded, negative, enveloped RNA virus
