Kaplan Qbank USMLE

hello
This is my first post here but i have been following this site for a while
I just wanted to share my exam experience
Just got my score report : Step 3 220/91 (feb 15th and 16th, 2006)
Step 2 (259/99) back in Dec, 2004
Step 1 (239/97) in Aug, 2005

Prepared for about 1.5 months ...Used crush step 3, some of Kaplan step 2 material (minimal) and UW (did all MCQs in 14 days, overall average was around 64%). Both parts of UW were very useful for the exam. the CCS section on the exam is actually staright forward and the software will almost never give you enough time to do all that UW CCS cases teach you to do but not to worry, if a case finishes early (or if you feel that it did), chances are it did so because you have done more than enough for that case.

The MCQ part was, as is the case with all USMLE exams, a big blurr..some questions were easy, some were very frustrating but I would say if you studied your step 2 material well and you retained a good bulk of the information presented there, plus doing UW with explanation, you will do well.

one last thing, I have no clinical experience yet. I will start my residency this july

Thanks for reading, congrats to those who passed and best of luck to those preparing
