go to the new 2006 editions of PreTests - they will be 100% case-based, i.e. USMLE step 2 CK MCQ-like.
in general PreTest books are much better for step 2 CK than for step 1.
secrets series doesn't have vignette-based MCQs - just simple questions and answers, i.e. they aren't board-like.

Hi P53, thanks for the info. How much difference is there between 9th edition and latest one for step 2 pretest books? I have the 9th edition and was wondering whether I need to get the new ones? Thanks

Yes, there is difference - previous editions weren't 100% case-based.
