hi sharvil.. i finished med school last year and have been studying for step one on and of since then.. gave it in september this year and i failed it.. really dont know where i went wrong.. i thought i was ok in prep, well maybe lack of concentration.. well now i am still thinking weather i should re apply and give it a second attempt.. do u think i stand a chance if i work really hard and get a good score, i know now that me doing residency will be pushed by another year, if everything does work out fine.. is there any possibility of getting into residency with a second attempt, cos i heard most of the programmes ask for a first attempt only... since u r already into residency maybe u have come across someone in the same situation.. i really need your advice... if there is no chance for people giving a second attempt then there is no use of me coming there.. please help me out here... thanks..

hi i am aiming for step 1 at jan end i am still left with first read of anat and half of immuno i haven't done any q's only those at back of the kln text and that too only for physio and beh. sciences i know that was a stupid thing to do, but well this is how it is i plan to read the books retrograde question wise now to get through mcq type exams well i need a lot of questions the problem is that i haven't done any q's yet except those mentioned above i want to do kaplan and uw q-bank and kln q's(q-book and those behind texts) and i have effectively 6.5 weeks left until the exam with first read anat pending also i have to do path q's from goljan how shd i organise my time table? i planned to read anat first , but it is taking time and i fear i will put off q's very for late if i do that shd i do kaplan subjectwise? how do i revise the kln books? when do i do uw? i am totally confused

I've been studying just 3 hours a day (not every day) since then...but before I was studying like 10-13 hours a day...I haven't review respiratory, neuro, microbiol and other subjects (I am studying FA and Qbank)...and I feel I won't have enough time to make it before the test...right now I feel so sad and worried...I think I'm gonna fail!!! Please tell me something, help me...I'm kinda depressed!!! brenvenez
