14 is Ataxia because the vertebrobasilar system supplies cerebellum. Rest all are often due to carotid artery involvement which I don,t think supplies cerebellum. Its likely to be a berry aneurysm.

The epilespy boy will perhaps give history of aural symptoms, could be depression. I don,t think he is on any drug because its not mentioned.

19 was easy- Spider angioma. Liver disease is the answer.

Why is it spiderangioma???How do neurofibromatosis differs from this?
Any idea how it looks like? Thanks

answer for a boy question - will be a episodes of hypomania. you can see on a picture cause effect of a lithium treatment- acne . another cause effect of lithium treatment is life threating seizures .

I will also go with neurofiroma

I was thinking the last one is adenoma sebaceum like in Tuberous sclerosis, any idea?

  #12

the last one is tuberous sclerosis the patient has a distinctive adenoma sebaceoum which is a characteristic feature of TS alongwith MR. SO I guess the ans woiuld be d.
the second ans would be Neurofibromatosis.
but am not sure abt the 1. this looks as if the artery in question is off before the circle of willis so can it be the opthalmic from the ICA before it leaves forr the circle of willis? can anybody throw the light on the first q .

what is the answer or choice D in epilepsy boy question

hi guys,

this is cafe au lait spot. darker than the surrounding skin as you see in Q.19. so the ans is E. http://www.understandingnf1.org/images/glossary/g...

this is ash leaf spot of tuberous sclerosis, which will have characteristic acne like lesions on the face(adenoma sebaceum) as you see in second question. they will have learning difficulties from early age. so the ans is D. http://www.aafp.org/afp/20000201/703_f1.jpg

another pic of adenoma sebaceum. http://medic.netcenter-vn.net/nckh/uthan/h1c.jpg
