i saw the last part of lord of the ring ....the return of the king last weekend
it was a good movie finally frodo succeeds in destruction of the ring & aragon became the king of rohan.....a happy ending.
i like the first & the last parts but not the second part(the two towers) as it was unneccessary.

The Two Towers is so necessary!! It's the bridge between the two movies. It explains how Gandalf comes back, it explains what happens to Merry and Pippin, it explains the background about Boromar (okay, I spelled that one wrong) and his father. It's absolutely necessary.

Try reading the first book and the last book, without The Two Towers - lots won't make sense

There's my movie synopsis for the year.

I've seen the third part of the movie. I was not too fond of it but my girlfriend dragged me to the cinema.
The most 'impressive' part was the end of the movie wich lasted about 30 minutes! Or maybe not really 30 min but it was long anyway.
So, I patiently stayed in my chair those many hours that the movie had elapsed. When the first scene of the end appeared(hugging and goodbyes), everybody in the crowd clapped their hands, cheering the movie. Then appeared another scene of huggings and fare-wells wich took the public by surprise; they didn't expect it.
And then another scene, and another scene and the mood of the crowd grew more nasty until the public was really fed up: 'Enough!', 'Is it over yet?'. The 'real' final scene struck with horror and was greeted with 'Booo'-es.

Wow, when I saw the movie, the crowd was just mezmorized by the picture. I absolutely loved it! It stayed pretty true to the book - some variations, but nothing that strayed from the "feeling" of the book.

Now, I can't wait for the boxed set DVD with the additional footage in it. Probably next November/December, eh?
