Can diabetics donate blood? Type I, Type II, on diet controlled, On insulin, on oral meds? Which can/can't? Thanks.

diabetes can donate if treatment is by diet . Defer donation if on medication.

Does Oxygen carying capacity of blood change in case of Hb a1c (Glycosylated Hb) and life span of RBC?

is a high level of blood sugar a deterrent for blood donation...infections and other such things are...pls explain...thanks in advance
