WHY THIAZIDE IS USED IN NEPHROGENIC DIABETES INSPIDUS (WHEN IN ITSELF THIAZIDE IS A DIURETIC AND THE BODY HAS TO CONSERVE WATER AND NOT LOOSE WATER WITH THE ALREADY UNCOMPENSATED NEPHROGENIC DIABETES INSIPIDUS)?CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN BRIEFLY?

best to just think of the thiazides as having a paradoxical therapeutic affect to decrease urine in Nephrogenic DI.

Thiazides are the only diuretics that produce Hyperosmolar urine. this ability some how conserve water!!!! i am also not very clear here. please some one explain....
