thx step12006 for the very soothing words. atleast it is nice to know that u r not alone. hw old is ur baby girl? mine is 2+ and she just come and lie on my book whenever she sees me reading, she want me to talk with her, teach her, read her books and 100% to be with her, poor thing she is too lonely esp with hubby getting very lill time to spent with us after his job. best wishes to u too buddy.
well finished genetics and moving on to mol bio in which im very poor. last time i did Qs i scored only 52, oh god this is horrible. im very poor with calculations and pedigree analysis.
nw i will do histo before mol bio to get a grip on the subject.

My daughter is 3yr old .She now somewhat understands that Mom is always with books .But of course she is not very happy with them .
I also wish to spend my time with her which is almost impossible right now .But i just want to keep believing that life to going to get better for us .After all tough times don't last forever.Happy studying

thanks step 1 2006.
well today im feeling very low friends, feels like im not able for this exam, my memory is very poor. remedy is reading kaplan more times but im a very slow reader, im angry with myself of not being able to finish things fast . oh god got 2 more months and im tumbling with kaplan truly speaking im considering of postponing but the longer it takes the harder it looks bs few months back i was even more confident than im nw. sometimes negative feelings are so strong that i feel to quit. but that means quitting from my profession forever and that is too painful. and there r negative comments from around as well. one person was asking me y im taking this long to write this exam, he has heard of somebody who took this exam in 3 months and scored nicely and i have been studying for past 6-7 months and still not ready?i just answered him that there r personal variations.
anyway i have to continue this struggle at all costs and go where it leads me, even though it takes me few more months. i pray my husband and family has enough patience to cope with me if it is going to be even longer.

you are able!!!, never say this again drbin, don't postpone the exam and study hard these 2 months. You have enough time to do good in your exam. I think it would be very good for you to update your journal daily, write exactly what you're going to read, what you did, what are your plans. you will feel motivated to keep going in a fast pace. this exam is about the power to keep studying, to keep going. And don't listen to what other people has to say about exam, i'm sure that this exam looks weird to nondoctors. but we all know it's a tough exam and for a mom it's more difficult. You are doing good,keep going buddy.

thanks vallia for the timely support. there were some other problems also weighing on my mind that i was extremely tensed. my husband is overseas for one month, so the loneliness+ there is a doubt that he is going to have a transfer to a totally new place probably in oct or by nov. so i was afraid that it would upset my whole balance and timetable. so i was venting off my steam here. well i dont know what r gods plans for me anyway im trying not to think of anything else but concentrating in what i do and read.
yea u are right i was so irregular in updating my diary and also in my study time table as well. was reading whatever i feel like each day rather than following a fixed schedule and thats the reason y i didnt update my diary as well. but nw im gonna do it regularly and sincerely hwevr feeble i did everyday. so far i finished reviewing histo, med genetics, and chapter 1,2,3 and 5 of Mol bio. nw reading chapter 4. will finish 6 and 7 tomoro and then i'll start biochem.

sure u r welcome shados. well i finished mol biology yday and today started biochem metabolisms, but went to church in the morning came back and then watched a movie. so im still at chapter 8 aminoacids.alloted total 4 days for metabolisms but todays chapters r pending well try to finish atleast 2 chapters before i go to bed.

today i read chapter 7 mol biology again bs i scored very low in blot Qs. hope it is better nw. then read chapter 10 and 11. planning to finish 12 also tonight.

thanks vallia once i finish metabolisms i will do lot of Qs on the subject and will check my improvement, but seems more confident about the subject nw.
did chapter 15 and 16 today.will read hormones at night.

today i scheduled my exam date it is Nov 27th. oh god just 9 more wks and got so much to do......subject in hand is micro....few portions of which is first read and second read combined, hope i can retain all these bugs in my memory.

yea it is really different after fixing the date, u can really feel the anxiety of it being so imminent. together we can ace the exam friends. about my plan of study, well i want to go thru everything twice in these last months.ie i finish my second reading in oct and then start Q bank along with a quick third read of all subjects or at least high yield ie pathology, neuroanatomy, physiology,pharmac,genetics & immunology. God give us strength to go thru this, i pray.
but im lagging behind my timetable by 10 days already, so i decided to stick on with my schedule rather than let the pending subjects grow. so im doing physio nw and the pending subjects(immuno and micro) i will do once i finish my schedule or do a little bit everyday.
