i am on transfer visa...L-2 B.....with work permit....so can anyone plz tell me whether i can apply for residency with this visa or do i have to change the visa status as this work permit depends on my husbands job.... and his company.

It's going to depend on your employer. They may let you work on this visa (because you can legally) or they may ask you to obtain your own visa. ___________________ bbb - trying to combine common sense and humour into realistic answers, but not going to guess on anyone's chances of getting into a position....
