i was kinda bored of reading books so i decided to read neuro in a different way just to keep myself awake during study i don't know why but i always feel so bored & less intrerested when i read this subject so what iam doing instead of reading from book i started from q bank i am doing qs related to neuro in a tutorial mode read its explanation & go in thebook & read the similar topic from book i feel its a very efficient way & at least not boring.

yesterday i did 1/2 of total neuro qs from the q bank 1/2 is left around 35 i wil do them after finishing neuro.so far i did 6 ch. from hy i have to do two more before sleep then tomorrow 8 ch. i have to finish neuro by 31st . then i will start fast revisions plus memorization of everythinng i can.i listened epi. lec. now stat part isleft that i have to listen in next two days.i am not listening every lec. only those which needs to clear concept.

zzzz i think this is the best way to study and i think u have given my a great idea as well  , im the same way with neuro and biochem and molecular bio , so i think ill do the same , good luck

i covered 9 ch. of neuro anatomy so far i couldn't study last night was feeling so tired & i think neuroanatomy is not a subject you can read with tired body so i slept. today morning i started from where i left so far did three more but i have to do atleast six more ch. today other wise i will be behind my schedual.today i feel myself very motivated afte reading sarika's experiace.she made me day.thanks sarika.

thats so true sarika give a mom hope well your method is good but i have heard it is good only after 2 readings but to each his own but the kaplan lecture are quite good makes neuro way easy

you are right female docny actually idid it only for making my mood to read this subject surly i will do this with my second reading & i stopped after 1/2 of it & reading book only. i find hy is very interstingly written book easy to read & pic. are very clear it clears every thing.thats why i don't feel necessity to listen lec. i saw in some of their lec. they just are reading the written material that makes me so bored.anyway today i had a bad day for studies b/c i couldn't read anything after 2:00 b/c i had to pick my kids, took my car for inspection so total waste.

i am on ch. no. 13 cranial nerves icouldn't read much yesterday if i won't finish neuro today i will be behind my schedual & i am feeling now i am wasting my time on net so i am shuttting my computer & will open it tomorrow after reacing my target bye bye.

i am on ch. 20th of neuro i decided not to come on net but i can't resist so thats it so far. its taking too much time i have to finish it today otherwise it will be disaster for me 4 more ch. to read God plz give me stamina my back is hurting now.

finally i finished my neuroanatomy it is 7;20 right now & i am still in the library my husband is so great i can't study without his support rightnow he is taking care of kids i am so thankful to him.i finished this but i am not satisfied b/c i read so fast i don't know how much is absorbed any way in the next reading i will concentrate more.this is simply too much course in step one God plz help all of us.from tommorow i will start a new sub. i will decide tonight before sleep what it will be & this will be my strong reading with memorization plus qs. happy study days.

today april 1st my heart is beating fast from today i have only 2 months in hand & i have to utilize these days very generously & wisely otherwise i will be stuck on step one for the next 3 or 4 months b/c i will be failed so try to make a strict schedual & act on it b/c this is really crucial time.so it is 9:15 am & luckily i am in the library i left my husband & kids sleeping, i discussed last night my husband about the strategy & he is fully agreed that i shouldn't waste any single min from now on b/c he went through all this years ago.so with the name of Great Almighty God i am starting today from Microbiology & have target of three days will try to cram it. good luck to me.

yesterday i came library with lots of energy & enthusiasm i read few pages of micro yesterday had plan to finish bacteriology at least, i took a good start but around 1 oclock my husband called he wanted to go to the mall for shopping & ofcourse wanted me & kids with him to go so i could't say no to him so stopped reading & went to stores eventhough it was fun we enjoyed alot but along with that i had regret feelings for my studies b/c this is really my crucial time & today i am feeling so slow i don't know what to do feeling so tense & unable to concentrate it is 3;17 already just readhardly 2 or 3 pages of fa; i don't know how to boost myself again ?.so sleepy today.

hey zzzz,i am doing pharmac,micro together.if you dont plan nay topic for a specific time.you keep reading it whole day!i have done that worst thing.so now i am managing time for every small topic,not just subject.and i am solving questions from q bank which keeps me really awake.are you solving question?if not its the right time to solve because it will give you idea about how to read.it really makes difference.solve question from any source ,but do solve them.they really motivate you.
i am giving exam in may and .and i am still in 2nd read.but plaaning to solve questions till next 15 days and NBME,to see where i stand.
you moms are really great doing such hard work.keep going!have you made a plan till june?

thanks alot dipiti you are right instead of going throgh subjects i should do different topics so it won't be boring & will do qs too thanks alot i am having too much anxiety now days doctot gave me H2 blocker (zantac) which i forget to take only remember when acidity starts already,i need to study alot.

zzzz and dipti..even I am thinking of mixing subjects..its so tiering to hold on to one subject, from tomorrow onwards planning to do neuroanat..,,so planning to add atleast 1 chapter of subjects which I have done..

hello everybody yesterday i couldn't read too much only6 ch. from micro mrs & did 25 qs in which i had very bad score b/c i was very tired & had a worst headach that time actually i did it before going to sleep around 1;00am but i realized that never do qs. with tired mind thats the lesson it will not only low your performance but also low your morale. always do it when you are feeling your self very active.today i have to finish virology from mrs i don't set too much big targets to achieve just that i can do easily it keeps me relax & consistant b/c it gives me +ve reinforcement tomorrow is for immunology if i finished viro before night then i will read fungus & mycology too.i thought i can finish micro in three days but that was not realistic thinking b/c its a big subject & thats my sec. read only i don't mind if i will go in exam with only two reads but sure it should be solid.anyway lets start study.goodluck to everyone including myself.

Gl zzzz, u are doing good. One thing which help me keeping away from boredom and made my readings thru lecture notes more effective that i try to make my own Qs from each page of lecture notes. Its really help me in understanding the material in a different way. Like for one page of micro i try to make 2 Qs .You are doing Qbank it will definately help u . We all go thru this stage of boredom but it is a stage too in this marathon we all go thru !

ok i am back to books thanks obo to stop bying i really need support from u guys its 6 ;18pm right now & i decide to read micro from first aid & then will do qs again it will be night time what i can do i couldn't get time in morning i had to finish viro. anyway i am using qbank as a learning tool so doesn't matter if i do qs wrong at least after that iwill read explanation carefully (using my defence mechanism rationalization hahahaha).

agree with OBO..active reading helps zzzz, but everytime we may not have that spirit....this study is something which is not mechanical..its a game of physical, emotional, mental energy..draining , if any one of them do not cooperate..we cant get out the result what it ask for..but we can do it drbin..only with the help of prayers..and keep going
