First of all, Iīd like to thanks to all of you that makes this experience a little bit easier to understand and my best wishes to all the participants in this match.
By the other hand, What do you think about this situation?
Supposed that you applied to a IM program with 21 spots for this match, the Hospital is well known but not the best is the city or the region. They had about 450 interviews, and they are going to rank about 300 applicants aprox. They never had empty spots or something like that.
Do you have any chances to get a spot if they put you in the middle of the list?.
I know that the chances depends on the others applicantīs choices too, but is it possible or the chances are very low?.

So you are ranked 150. If you rank this program no. 1, the computer will tentatively match you in that program and move to the next candidate. If 21 of the 149 people above you get matched at your program( either they ranked you program as number 1 or they get displaced from upper ranked programs to your program), you will be displaced and you will slip into your next choice in rol.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I think that I will have to be lucky and wait for the matching day.
Sorry about not to giving you the name of the program but this sitation is not real, I am just guessing what could happen with the match.
