Hey guys,
I still cant believe this day has come when i dont have to study anymore...First of all Thankyou everyone for the best wishes..YA'll r great.
About my exam...well it was pretty much like the Usmle Cd and NbME questions were not at all lengthy i had 10 minutes left after every block to review the questions i had marked (which were many since i was not sure abt them)...a few weird questions here n there...but basically basic pathophysiology...i dont know if its just me who felt this ...but the exam was pretty basic...and the problem with most of US people...we dont pay that much attention to basic and get obssessed with weird rare syndromes and calculations...i mean i had trouble remembring MOA of a common drug and i was so mad at myself...
My advice to all of u who r planning to take this exam in a month...give FA 15 days and dont read it...MEMORIZE IT...so much so that u can recite it backwards if u have to...i know it sounds immature but its true they ask mostly basic questions and i was having making guess on those too...
This in no way saying i am getting high 90's...no i am not that smart...its just that exam is doable if u r attentive that day...(i was anxious first...then sleepy then tired n bored in the end i wanted to get it over with)...Also i found few questions were mainly like I.Q questions so being alert is very important...Get a good night sleep anyway possible...i went to bed like at 10...but was up all night...only time i slept was between 4.30 to 6.30...in the morning my head my hurting real bad...so that was the thing that hurt me the most...

I'm Happy for you that you r done with it....Enjoy yoursself.Great to know that you did good.All the best for your results.I have 9 more days to go.I'm taking it on March 10th.I was freaking out yesterday.Felt better after talking to my husband.Even you guys are a great support.After reading your post I feel even better.I feel I can do it.Just need additional prayers from all of you.

Good job, Sarika...now its time to UNWIND!!!!! All the best for your results!! To Dr. Swapna: last 9 days, I would recommend doing just FA + Goljan + 'Weak' areas from NBME...good luck n' keep your cool!

gross anatomy wasnt bad....but my exam was full of neuroanatomy ...i mean every block had neuro lesions though not difficult ones just the normal type...but i was so nervous i might have messed up those too..
For drswapna, i would agree u should do FA as much as possible....

And Drswapna: I totally agree with what Doc2378 said: FA, weak areas, and Goljan when you have some "down" time (like when you´re going to bed, taking a shower,...). I was very surprised to find that "revenge of the bear" question he mentions in one of his lectures on my second block, and wished I had been able to go through his lectures a second time. GL !

were qs in real exam similar to NBME or tougher? How many lines Qs?Any Qs from NBME?
