Hello friend, I am new to this forum. I had been a constant visitor and poster in the match forum. I have decided to write the step 3 befor may1st. I wanted some advice. I have step 2 Kaplan notes which I wrote about 6 months back. I have started reading that. I am also planning to read Kaplan step3 question bank and CCS. I hope that i enough. How much time did you people take to prepare succesfully. I had scored 99 in my previous steps. I was told that it requires only to pass step 3 and its score is not much concern. I was planning to write after the residency starts. I was given an impression that it is easier if written after the residency start. After haering about the busy schedule of theintern, I am convinced that it is better idea to write before. Please give some advice if i am wrong anywhere.

I agree with you. Do it b4 residency. You have no time to relax dr residency. And you score 99 in step2 and if it is not too long ago, it won't difficult for you. Remember to do UW.It helps a lot.

I am sure with two months of intense studies with kaplan step 2 CK lecture notes, UW MCQs and CCS, you should be just fine. I wish you the best. Make sure you practise step 3 CD FSMB will send to you so that you will be very used to the software, that is very important as well.
