A 22 year old woman comes to ER b/c of fever, dysuria and flank pain for past 2 days. Vital signs:
rectal temp: 39.4C (103F);
pulse: 130/min;
respirations: 25/min;
bp: 90/55
She has anuria. Blood cultures grow E.coli. IV broad spectrum antibiotic therapy is started. Which of the cyctokines contribute to her current illness:
a. il-2 and interferon-y
b. il-3 and il-7
c. il-4 and il-5
d. il10 and il-12
e. TNF-a and il-1

i agree...it's e. IL1--->increase in temp.
HOT IL1 temp
T IL2 stimulates t cells
BONE IL3 stimulates bone marrow
stEAk IL4 stimulate IgE, IL5 stmulates IgA
