As a result of fall onto hard surface, a 20 year old woman has a fracture of medial humeral epicondyle and a nerve is injured. Which action is most affected by this nerve injury ?
a. adduction of all digits
b. extension of all digits
c. flexion of all digits
d. pronation of forearm
e. supination of forearm

ulnar nerve is damaged .............it supplies all the interossous muscles of hand but not sure about the action of these muscles . correct me

yes ulnar nerve will be injured,it supplies the ant interosseous which adduct the digits and the posterior inteross that abduct them,so I would go with A.

a mnemonic from med school.....interossei action ...
"DAB on a PAD"- Dorsal Interossei ABduct and Palmar interossei ADduct.
