hi ,
i got an interview in ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES(AIIMS) for a research work for 5 months , does this value in USA , does this add value in my CV??some people say that it is worth doing an observership in united states rather than doing research in AIIMS ,some say that AIIMS is in world map , so it carriers a good chance in usa , i m confussed to take up the job (if i get ).....and i gotta do step 2 along with it ........suggestion please

Any research should be good on your CV.You will be asked to explain what you did.Do it

It does carry some value, but not comparable to observership/externship/rotation in usa/usa research...........so think twice before joining something.

anythin which u can put on paper is going to be useful (except doin a gigolo job like me only question is how much will it help. i have some indian research experience - atleast ur research and publications column will not be blank like lots of other candidates. true it wont be as useful as us lor but havin a an ugly girl is always better than bein single

Any kinda research is useful.Plus you wont have a gap in your CV which is very imp I think. GL
