87,87 in step 1 and 2, doing Residency (PGY-1), obviously no time to study, keep listening to Kaplan and reviewing material, (which I thought I have mastered) and getting 55% in overall UW,(Did twice) Kaplan 60to 70% (did thrice) , took exam so that 600$ will not be wasted with mere 2 days fulltime preparation. 73.Failed. Now this 340 in NBME. With no time to study, it is thoroughly frustating that I need to do things which I know I can, but not able to spend enough time with books. It is like going to boxing match with your hands tied to back. Any suggestions from those who are doing residency? I spend 106 to 127 hours on average in hospital doing work which is not useful for passing the exam. I can study 10 hours a day without blinking and have this burning under the belly to get rid off this exam and feel happy. IS 340 ENOUGH TO PASS THE EXAM? I got 540 when I did NBME for step2 ! Is there hope to pass this exam while doing Residency ? All kinds of advice and suggestions wanted. Thanks very many for the same.
