In a 70 kg individual what % of fluid is in
TBW,ECF,ICF,interstial vol, plasma vol.
Also where applicable name at least 2 substances that could be used to measure each compartment.

Lets go! Cmon guys!! On 2nd thought Ill answer half.

TBW measured with Antipyrine or D3O
ECF measured with Inulin or mannose
Vascular with Evans blue or albumin
ICF and interstitial cannot be measured directly

TBW - 65% of total body water, so if the guy is 70kgs then it will be ~45L
plasma vol: 5L
ECF+ISF=15L
ICF= 30L

I think this is correct

trying to be more specific
in a 70KG man, fluid volume is almost 42L
ECF= 14
ICF= 28 of which
plasma= 5 and the
IST= 23

TBW is 42 L
ICF is 28 L or 2/3 (TBW)
ECF is 14 L or 1/3

ECF is composed of interstitial volume 10L or 2/3
and plasma vol 4L or 1/3

connection between the degree of protien binding and vol. of distribution of a drug...?

gosh! i just hate questions on vol of distribution......

I think that these are inversely related.
