hi coolbabe76,
u mentioned that for step 3, one shud do kaplan step2 med,peds and psych.i have my exam on 20,21 march...i've only done kaplan step 2 medicine.was thinking of doing the rest from crush and uw.
do u think that wud be enough?
right now i'm gettimg 53-54 in uw.
GL with ur result...bet u'll ace it...:-)

i will say try to scan thru peds and psy too...cos i got a lot of questions from those....supplement it with UW...
a freind gave it last week and said that nothing was asked from UW and it was all about common sense rather than any specific book...
so i guess a mix of kaplan, UW and common sense should serve you well,,,,,,

from what i hear 53 54 should be passing grade .....be sure to take nbme b4 the real exam ...say 10 days b4....

just one more q...the ccs cases in uw r discussions and r not in the software format.did u only practice the ccs software from the 5 ccs cases in tne step 3 CD?was that enuff to get familiar with the software/typing orders/advaning clock etc...?

those 5 cases are not enuf to practice but we have no other option , do we??

smak, i tried passfirst ccs cases , they are in the software format and good for practicing.there are 50 to 100 cases depending on which package u select. the website is www.passfirst.com

thanks msashraf....don't know if i have the time to do both uw ccs and passfirst...but will definitely try it out.
