Tonight seems to lost the drive,get it back after a sleep and some reflections.
27days to go !!!!!
Aiming for a 99.
I am 87 right now ..........
I started from 76(NBME1)--->80(NBME2)--->87(NBME3)

hey wey2002,please help me please let me know how you improved from 80 to 87?i have month to go for my exam and i have given very poor performance in NBME3.i want to make it in one month.please guide me,i am loosing my confidence....please help me.

hi wey i read your diary & infact i was kind of very confused about managingmy last two months but after reading your journal i got the way & pretty inspire too i was getting very low score in qbank infact it was shaking my confidence & everyday study routine i got so frustrated that i threw my books away that it is notpossible for me but nowi realized that without memorizing stuff i won't be able to correct the answers so now i am memorizing fa first then i will see that how much i am improving then i will start kaplan again with memorizing it you are right it is a hard work you are a big motivator for me i am always inspired by chineese people respect them from my heart.one thing need to know what are these rapid qs is this rapid review qs? thanks.

Today finished cell bio+histology, did kaplan 30 Qs, get a 70%
revised previous 40 histo Qs.
Will study enmryo tomorrow.

hello wey i have a qs from you that is this normal to get low score in q bank when you have almost two months in exam before start memorizing stuff i am scoring real low in qbank even i have started memorizing fa still have to memorize books. i was feeling so tensed so now i started memorizing systems from books along with FA I HOPE IT WILL WORK i don't know how people score too high in qbank is this their first time doing qs or sec. & what is your opinion about qbank i feel them hard i think iwill improve in it just before two week in exam what do you think & do you think i made a right decision to cram from kaplan now with FA b/c i thought i should do it after finishing FA first. it will take a lil more time than doing FA only but i was so frustrated with qbank score & still i didn't take any nbme b/c i have to go thru everything before taking it i am scared of nbme it will affect me alot.thanks

Well, yes, I been getting really low with Qbank all the time, now I am in 70% range for Qbank, but my aggrerate is still 61%.
I think if you know your stuff well, you will get a high score on Qbank.

Please take this in account that people who post usually do good, lots of US just passively watch.
Whatever you read you should try to remember, doesn't matter how many books you read,Kaplan is enough.When you remember your stuff FA will be easy, other wise FA is not easy to be remembered.

There are four NBMES, does not hurt to see where you stand, you have to face the test sooner or later, it will be good to know what you are not good at and focus on those. You can not run away simply by not facing where you stand, you stand where you are no matter you take NBME or not.NBME is not meant for you to feel good but for you to find out the status and work on your prep.
If you are not good on certain topics, focus on them other wise we tend to read what we know again and again cause that makes the prep less painful.If you are not good on concepts try to understand them before you remember ( Medicine is not hard, if you checked physics and maths textbooks)
If you can not remember the details just try to MEMORIZE,that is it. it takes time and effort. Not every of us can get a 99 but given enough effort everyone of us should get over 90s at least.

dear wey, i agree with you. Memorization is very important. it is very difficult to score high in qbank without memorizing key facts, charts, tables.
it takes more time, and that is why i find it hard to do but than score is not good.

Today finished all bugs from Kaplan, did 50 Kaplan Wrong Qs in tutorial mode.
Tomorrow will finish Virus+Fungi+Parasites.

Did Goljan 50 Qs, 80%
reviewing kaplan Qbank.
Tomorrow: read all drugs for Bugs/virus....
All clinical cases for bugs,Virus on kaplan....
Not sure about Vignettes for micro.

May 11, fnished antibiotics as well as dieases+corresponding items.
May 12, finished Immun+immuno patho, did Goljan 50Qs, 62%, revised kaplan 75 Qs.
Today read a little about Heart EMbryo+ anatomy+ pathology.
