Is there anyone who knows why polyuria and polydipsia occurs in hypokalemia ?

I am not sure but i think its about decreasing level of aldosterone in the case of hypokalemia for not to lose more Potassium from distal renal tubule ... if we remember the Physiologic response to Aldosterone Excess are:
Increased renal distal tubular sodium reabsorption
Increased total body sodium content
Increased water retention ,in the case of hypoaldestronism because of hypokalemia non of them would take place and polyuria&polydipsia will occur
