No, I Believe the answer is E which is the POSTERIOR LIMB OF INTERNAL CAPSULE. The tract in question is spinothalamic which has its third neuron synapsing here before reaching the sensory cortex.

B. The structured indicated is the Thalamus. 2nd order neurons of the Spinothalamic tract originate within the spinal cord, cross over and ascend as the Spinothalamic tract to terminate within the VPM of the Thalamus. Then they pass thru the IC to reach the Somatosensory cortex.

Terminate in the VPL nucleus of the thalamus .. VPM is for trigeminal passways. no?
