thanks tolito, i feel so good these days. After second reading i get really good scores on pathology (robbins review), 80-85%. I have courage again and i'll keep going with God's help.

so far finished cellular reaction to injury, inflammation, hemodynamic dysfunction from BRS and Big Robbins and did the questions. for weekend is genetic disorders, immune dysfunctin, neoplasia

vallia, genetic disorders, immune dysfunction and neoplasia are the BIG 3!!!! GOOD LUCK.

ask me questions any time so we can review together.

can i ask the first question? what are the differences between apoptosis and necrosis and atrophy at the subcellular level?

Apoptosis-cell shrinkage, intense eosinophilic, nuclear chromatin condensation, DNA fragmentation- typical DNA ladders on agarose gel ELFO, cytoplasmic blebs, formation of apoptotic bodies, phagocytosis of the extruded apoptotic bodies, plasma membranes remain intact

Necrosis- cell swelling, mithocondrial swelling with amorphous densities, rupture of lysosomes and autolysis, myelin figures, disruption of membranes and cytoskeletal proteins, nucleus-pyknosis, karyolysis, karyorrhexis, smear pattern of DNA fragmentation

atrophy-adaptive response, decrease in size of the cell, cell shrinkage, autophagic vacuoles, residual bodies, and the cell is not dead...

thanks for asking, and complete if needed.I'm ask some questions at your journal as well.that a very good way to review topics.

Still doing genetic disorders...

these days I read again immuno pathology because I had a low score on ques but I improved a little to 70%. also read anemia, and spent a lot of time with my kid who is still sick, poor thing. I'm feeling very tired and the reading of pathology is going slow. I couldn't do more than 30 pages per day.

I hope all my friens are doing good, keep going guys
