Is dysplasia reversible?

I think it is.
But, we must be aware of the fact that there are several types of dysplasia, e.g. low grade, medium grade, high grade. High grade dysplasia can't be differentiated from In situ carcinoma so we can say it is irreversible.

Yes, it "can be" reversible. -I agree with mildus's explanation.

according to goljan , dysplasia is reversible if the factor causing dysplasia does not exist in ones body anymore. but if it does exist then that results in cancer

barret's esophagus.we can also think of cervical dysplasia too.But we have to do conning and remove the displastic tissue.

barrets espphagus is NOT dysplasia; its metaplasia (a change of one cell type to another)
Dysplasis is when cells are arranged in a disorganized manner.

Barret is metaplasia, but if cancerogenesis starts, those cells can become atipic (hyperchromatic nuclei, increased N/C ratio, variability of shape and size of the nucleus and the whole cell).
These atipic cells are precancerous lesion (=dysplasia) and if the stimulus which has lead to cancerogenesis doesn't stop, it will progress to carcinoma in situ.
