if mother has suspected TB at delievery, separete the infant till CXR is taken
If CXR of mom is +, then infant remains separated till acid fast is taken (if acid fast +, start mom on anti TB tx n put infant on INH, now infant does not need to be separated from mother)
-Separation from the mother is necessary if she is hospitalized for TB or she has suspected drug-resistant TB
