I am wandering whether Lor and PS are still important during scramble or postmatch. Another question, has anybody tried efax.com? Is it reliable? Thanks.

if they're US LORs and they're fairly recent i think that would be a plus. the PS may be good too. the PDs don't really have much chance to get to know us during the scramble so they might read the PS of the applications that seem to have some promise eventually. at least that would be what I would do if I was in the selection committee's shoes.
i can't help you out regarding efax.com though. still researching on good fax services myself. god bless.
