Hello
Last week I was reading here and there, trying to see things I read but I forgot.I have 1 month for my qbank and done almost half of it but still my cumulative is 63.
Today I am reading antibiotics.I will do qs in the evening.

Yesterday I finished antibiotics and some bacteriology .Did 50 qs.But didn't get good night b/c my son is having a flu and was up almost every 30 min.Today I was not able to read much.I will try to read medicaly important fungi and read antifungals from pharma.This is after I put him to bed.I do not think that I will get time for qs.

i know how it is when children get sick , but keep doin some thing so u dont lose ur rythm , important to keep that flow of information comin so when u do get over this u can automaticaly speed up ........ good luck dont worry about ur son he will get better soon , viral infection take there time .
i dont know how old he is but if he is 1 yr or + try the pediasure , female doc ny gave me this idea and it has been workin for my son , although he doesnt like it as much as he likes his milk bottel , but i do try to sneek it in to some thing  , plus i also give him his vitamins .

hi mitty, how is it going?? and your son? hope he is better. it is just a phase so do not be too anxious about the lost study time. at least ou are spending it on something worthwhile. some of us waste our time just sleeping or moaning about how difficult it is to study or just watching movies.

Thank you tolito,hodgkins and aisha.My son is doing fine.I am trying to improve but my qbank score is still in 60s.currently I am reading pharma.This time I will read some topics from lipppincott's.Kaplan didn't help me to get the whole picture.I guss that is why I tend to forget what I read.
My plan was to finish all steps before August 2006.But I am still struggling for step 1.I think His plan is different.

Hi Mitty glad that ur son is fine.... dont worry about taking steps late,what is gone is gone and u r nw doing what u can do. so think about only today and tomoro. We are all in the same boat. I got married in 2003 and i wanted to finish all my steps by last year but God surely had different plans for me too, so im also like u still in the early steps of prep. hope we can all make up for our lost time in due course. God will surely hear our prayers.

hey mitty, you are sounding depressed. keep your chin up and keep your face to teh sunshine.  i also planned to be done with all steps by second week in september so ican match for 2007 but i am not sure i can make step 1 on june 19th as planned. but my friend says best to wait another year and get perfect scores than hurry. then she says if we get 99, or more realistically from 85 and above at step 1 and we are yet to get results for the others, we can still match. we only need to make sure that we have done all steps by december. yes we will have more limited offers but she says they will certainly consider us with good scores at step 1 only.
second, remember that God always has a perfect plan for us. let us just wait on Him and we will not weary. He will make a way for us where there seems to be no way. He will do abundantly, exceedingly beyond what we can ever think or ask of Him. so relax, enjoy and study.

Hello
I am back.For the past 10 days I was reading pharma.Still not finished some of the topics but am feeling good about it. My q bank result is getting better.I am getting late 60's and 70's and even got few 80's.But my cumilative is still 64.
I have 13 days for q bank.I have done 60% of it.So I will try to finish it before it expires.I might not update my diary every day.But I will read your posts.You guys are doing great.
I pray to be strong and determined like you guys.

mitty, how are you? i know that as the day draws close, we get anxious, lose confidence and a lot of other stuff. keep your faith and you will be rewarded. dont isolate yourself. it is cathartic to put words down and you will be amazed by the effect of that therapy..
i enjoy reading your posts and i miss it. when i read posts of friends, it makes me feel like i am a part of their lives even though we are so far apart and do not even know each other.
let us read from you now and then.

i clicked on the link you pasted. it is beautiful. i am also trusting Him to lead me right cos i do not know how to plan my life. i do not know the future. i also planned to finish all steps by sept but it looks like even oct is not realistic. i will continue to search His face cos i know He will not hide it from me. i continue to ask for His strength, i know His will is perfect for me. if i cannot mke 2007 match, i know He has a purpose for me.
it is just so coincidental that it is a rosebud. i cut one rosebud 3days ago and today, it is beautiful fragrant flower in my kitchen. i was marveled by God's work. mitty, see why you need to write?? people are blessed by you daily.

Today i read a book called LEFT TO TELL by Immacul'ee Ilibagiza.She is a survivor of the 1994 Rwandan Holocaust.She survived by hiding in small bath room with 7 other women.I was amazed by her faith on God and her positive thinking. I learned a lot from the book and I recommend you to read it when you get time.It will realy renewe your faith on God.
in one chapter of her book she wrote this "once I was clear on exactly what I wanted, I began to visualize it, beliving in my heart thai it had already come to pass.I'd put it all in God's hands and knew that it was only a matter of time before He would bless me with my wish....''

Hello
Today I prepared a report card for step 1 which I am going to attach on my wall.BELIVE & RECIVE.It will be my motivation.I picked a day for the exam and made a schedule with the prometric center.I know that I will not be ready for 2007 much so I picked last week of august.
I know my husband is tired of my preparation for step 1 but I BELIVE he will not be disappointed with the result.
Today I am reading the CVS physiology and pathology and if i get time I will add CVS pharmacology.

hey mitty, how is it going? i have been having a headache or backache everyday now for the past 3 days or so. i am taking acetaminophen other wise i would need to stop. today, no headache or backache. i hope tomorrow will be better.

Thank you smarty and tolito.
Today I am reading in the library.I missed my son very much.Usully I study at home and I was able to heat his voice from the other room.My exam is on the 29th and I am afraid to death.Alot of thing to cover.And a lot of qs to do.
I will take NBME2 after 2 weeks.I have to be strong and I have to surrend every thing to God.He is the one who helped me through med school and through my ups and downs.
I belive God is by my side.
