how is this test done(if it is board relevant) and where is it used?

I only know this is used in evaluation of TBG binding site...means if TBG are all occupied...there won't have any place left for T3...so T3 will bind to resin...and RT3U will inc...

That means ...Eg. inc in T4...will inc bound T4, so dec free TBG binding site...will inc. resin T3 uptake...so it will inc in Hyperthyroidism....(and dec. in Hypothy.)....Hope I'm right...
