Midshaft humerus fracture injures what nerve?

midshaft # -- RADIAL NERVE.

supracondylar #-- MEDIAN nerve AT ELBOW

SURGICAL NECK---axillary n,

MEDIAL EPICONDYL#-- ulnar n at elbow

ARM -Axillary, Radial, and Median (going down the ARM)

There are three nerves involved in fracturse of the humerus at 3 different levels :

1-surgical neck fracture: axillary nerve -------loss of abduction

2-shaft of humerus :radial nerve----------wrist drop

3-supracondyler fracture:median nerve--------ulnar deviation (on wrist flexion)+loss of opposition and most importantly loss of sensation over the palmer surface of the lateral 3 1/2 digits.

Also:
Median nerve injury causes "Ape hand"
Ulnar nerve injury causes "Claw hand"
