1.A

2.D because pyruvate kinase is the last enzyme in conversion of glucose to pyruvate, glycolysis, so lack of it means no ATP

can anyone explain 47

  #5

47-C

50-E

  #6

47 - is lead poisoning:

Lead inhibits delta aminolevulinic acid dehydrase (delta-ALAD) and ferrochelatase (heme-synthetase). As a result, delta-ALAD cannot be converted into porphobilinogen nor can iron be incorporated into the protoporphyrin ring.

So the answer is A

a
d

  #8

answers A

AND D.

NOT E FOR THE SECOND ONE BECOZ.....PYRUVATE KINASE IS INVOLVED IN SUBSTRATE LEVEL PHOSPHRYLATION in glycolosis AND IF IT DEFICIENT...SURELY THERE WILL BE LESS ATP in the glycolysis cycle.......one more thing PK deficiency increses BIphosphoglycerate so there will be decrease affinity for Hb-O2 combination.....so answer can not be E .
