resting muscle use free fatty acids and ketone bodies

muscle with light activity use glucose from circulation

muscle with intense activity use its glycogen stores via aneorbic

In fasting state the ways we make glucose:
1. from RBC? -Lactate

1.Glycogen- liver, muscle, kidney
2.TG's are mobilizied from adipose tissues- glycerol enters gluconeogen.
3.AA and proteins from muscle-last resort of starvation enters gluconeogen.

Is it glycerol phosphate or glycerol that is converted to glycerol phosphate in the liver? If I remember correctly, glycerol kinase is found only in the liver.

Furthermore, fatty acids from adipose tissue can be converted to odd chain fatty acids in the liver, and utilized during gluconegenesis.
