It's a normal spirogram of the lungs. Right,each interval is 0.5 L and you know that the TV(tidal volume)=0.5 L (it's G in this graph) A=IRV(max.you can breath above TV) B=ERV E=Residual Volume(what is left after max.respiration,can not be measured by spirometry) C=IC(inspiratory capacity=IRV+TV D=VITAL CAPACITY=IRV+TV+ERV TLC(Total Lung capacity)H=D+E(Vital capacity plus Residual Volume)=5Litars

Well, the correct answer from Kaplan is 4L without any reasonable explanation....that's why I'm confused....
