hi 3535 ,
u seem to miss india alot , well i m in delhi now ,near aiims .........
so ,i m doing pyschiatry tapes , little bit lazy ....wasting alot of time .............the tension what i had for step 1 was so different ,it pushed me thro daily , here in step 2 i dont seem to have tension atall ....,thats worrying me

hey everyone, I need some harsh/true analysis here. Finished surg UW w/ 56%.
hepatic was ok w/ 63%.overall i am stuck w/ 63%.
Off to IM now.

hi all
did 75 q in Blue prints of peds
got 66%
atleast better than the previuos score
doing gynae lectures
also plan to revise im along with it
plus do one block daily

hi all..still working on some areas that i feel need a little more attention. couple of more days before UW i guess.
i concur with kar onhow t he seriousness level changes from step 1 to 2 ..lets just hope that relatively "lower" seriousnes is sufficient to cruise past step 2 smoothly!!

i've started doing UW. im doing IM.Started with GIT-score70%. But reading +writing exp-takes a lot of time. today i've to read 46 q exp +have to read Pedi-few pg .let's see how much i can do.Best of luck everyone.

did one block yesterday and went for shoping and now back with studies , got up just now , will have to do two blocks to do for sure.......hoping to finish infectitious diseases......today................
guys , i m not analysing myself now , cause i think it is too early to analyse myself now ..........i think i can wait for my nbme after usmleworld ....i m taking this as my learning tool.........

i think u should watch conrad lectures and gyne lectures ,.obs is also good but if u r strong in obs u can skip it ,,....surgery definetly skip it and pediatrics too ,,,,......psych, it is same as step 1 ....if u dont have time then u can skip it .......actually pscy lecture is intresting , she makes it intresting , ...........

hi sarika,
i agree with kar..do the conrad lectures--he's excellent. he does do lots of song and dance but u'll remember stuff very well. surgery and peds are pretty much straight from the kaplan notes too. pysch--repeat of step1 material(In my opinion). hope it helps....

I,ve wasted the whole wkend--Always in the wkend i've to do so many things---i don't know how to make some time for studying. Hi KAR i don"t think i can analyze myself with this UW score. Cause I'm rt now doing hepato +GI q after studying --so def i will get a decent score. But to me it means nothing. I'll assess myself with NBME. can u guys tell me how much time do u take to do 1 block qs exp--- it takes me the whole day--because i've to write so many things. I think i'm a v slow reader. cause so many of u r doing 2 blocks exp per day. OK buy for today.

i started with surgery.is it necessary to do the kaplan lectures for surgery?

hey kar and ace!started UW .doing mix lots not topicwise and it works out fairly i think.bcos u arent screwed down to one thing. anyways not everyone may agree with me. right now i am happy with the speed and the scores too!.lets hope this works the same way.
