of course.. you can . Make your schedule &gather your books & start studying now. I think 4.5 mos is more than enough & I also think that step 1 is tougher than step 2. Just my personal opinion.

A very good start of my morning today. did 2 blocks of UW q's. plus explanations. sturge, I would suggest for you to do IM per subject. R u doing UW in ist part of your review? Well, well CCC.. good luck w/ your exam in 2 weeks. This is the time where you have to encourage yourself that you can conquer this test!!! in regards to your q? have you read kingsofke's exam exp. His points might help you alot. I have a friend who took her exam 3 weeks ago & she said she got lots of OBGYN & basic derma questions. I'm sorry that i can't answer your q very well regarding the top 10 HY in exam bec I depend on UW for my high yields. BTW have you done UW & NBME?

CCC,NBME is the best(45$). Kaplan simulated exam (look ebay for CD) gives u a better idea of your weak areas than nbme.If u dont have time to get involved in ebay buying,do nbme.

Time flies & so should my studies. Per advises one should do a lot of MCQ's. I noticed that when I answer q i tend to go for the MC answer even the q does not ask for that answer... bad... very bad.. at least i have pointed out one of my common mistakes... how's your studies going karusmle?

Hi.Did Kaplan Assessment tests (subjectwise, got them at my centre prep, lengthier than kap Q Bank&Book, difficulty level more/same i dont know).------------got IM 72% surg 72% psych 21/25.Its ok bec i havenot touched IM book since 1month and other two since 15days as i was doing questions (kap ,nms ,medrevu, mksap).
Had a little change in my earlier schedule. But going to start UW 0n 21st.
I am very excited about starting UW(???!!).I dont know though how i'll fare in it. Platinum,i have 2cs scheduled for 20th july.

Finished w/ Infectious Dse. My scores not what I've expected though since I considered this as one of my "easy " topics, 65% Noticed also that in UW the q's are more about AIDS.

Thanks for dropping by kingsofke. Your success has inspired me/us to get motivated. And so my morning ended w/ finishing Derma UW w/ 65% score. Still confused w/ some skin dse. descriptions. I need to look at skin patho pictures too. Have a great day co-team members!

m2: thanks for the vote of confidence.I hope studying is coming along as planned for you. Kar: Good to have you back.As tempting as that job offer might be...if you think it will be difficult to juggle between the exam and working(which I am sure is) then you will have to prioritise.I am glad you've made your decision and I am sure it will work out for the best. kingsofke: thanks for dropping by.Like 3535 I frequent your post often especially when I feel low.It does wonders....thankyou! 3535: The "sadness" is an innate property of the exam and setting targets does help staying focussed.Good luck with chalking out that schedule. Hope your prep is coming along fine platinum. I am struggling to finish off surgery. Its taking longer than I expected probabaly because of the UW questions I am doing along with it for peds.Ah well...got to get it out of the way soon.Good luck everyone...have a productive day!

welcome acemle! like that nname! 3535.. relax... you'll be fine. Keep up the good work... cyra.. my review is going along fine. There are days that If I studied a lot in one day , for sure I slow down the next day. it's just more of the stamina thing. I easily get tired. But I'm okay.. I started Qbook yest w/ IM test 1. i'm disappointed of my 68% score. I aim to score above 80 for the MCQ's so I am still studying hard.. going back & forth w/ my notes..
