That is true that some people graduated from public health took the USMLE. That was the time when they did not ask for transcript from your medical school. I am not sure the ECFMG really checks the subjects that you took on your transcript. I don't think it there will be much problem since you have a medical diploma. However, you'd better make it sure before you make a decision.
