what r the indications of isoniazid chemoprophylaxis in pediatric age goup?

Children n adolescents w/ asx skin test conversion or those who have received BCG and test postive on PPD should b treated with 9 mo of INH prophx

If a newborn's mother shows evidence of active disease , then mother should begin anti TB therapy n the infant placed on INH. Separation from mom is not required in this scenario.
