We all know that all neural cell bodies located outside the C.N.S are derived from the neural crest,and appear clustured in ganglia.This applies on all sensory and autonomic ganglia.
THE QUESTION IS WHY ,THEN,DO THE SPIRAL GANGLIA OF THE 8TH NERVE ANDTHE VESTIBULAR GANGLIA OF THE VISTUBULAR PART OF THE 8TH NERVE ARISE FROM THE OTIC VESSICLE(ECTODERM)?
