My husband is taking part in a cooking competition in his company where everyone is cooking their regional foods.He wanted me to cook but I have my exams so my poor husband is attempting to cook himself for the competition .He is making qeemay kai naan.I made the dough and the qeema masala,and taught him how to make it and now he is inthe kitchen working so hard for his competetion and I am back to study...I wish he wins.

No more fooling around.The BID DAY is so close and I am really anxious.I just wish to get it over with for once and for all.inshAllah

I am too sleepy now.I tried to study pharma from FA and looking at some pharma websites to elaborate a bit ,and wasted much time on that.I have tomorrow for pharma as well.I think I will wake up early if I could .and start pharma with a fresh mind.I just cannot compromise on my 7 hour sleep with my son waking every hour or so,it cuts down to a total of 4 hour sleep may be.

hey malinda.. PHYSIO needs little bit more time compare to pharma..So its okay if u spend time with PHYSIO...
PHYSIO ,PATH,,BIOCHEM are the main BULK of knowledge..

All this time I have been studying anti arrythmics and still after finishing all anti arrhythmics I dont know where they are used.all are used in all types of arrythmias..I know I wont be able to choose one from the whole list of anti arrhythmics on the exam.I have given it a reading.I will have a look again before th exam.
all exhausted by now.Brain is saturated and begging to stop.I have to finish atleast one more big chapter today.May be before leaving for home,I will do general pahrma

I AM SO DEPRESSED.I worked so hard to finish pharmacology and now I have done 20 unused qs from pharma kaplan q bank and I scored less than 50%.The qs were hard and honestly I had never read all that stuff about the drugs in kaplan or FA.There were only a few straight forward qs that I got right.Pharmacology is the toughest subject for me.I feel my knowledge is soo superficial and limited in this subject and now after doing qs,I know that my knowledge isnot enough.Even on nbme I scored average but no matter how many times I do it,My scores are not improving.
I really dont have time to read a newbook.All I can do is to do more qs for pharmacology.But it was a shock to read a whole subject well and getting not even a passing score on that

Thanx buddy.I helped my husband yesterday for the final preparation and today is the big day for him.So lets see how he demonstrates to all his colleagues making food from scratch.He is a good cook,but he believes in doing the best in whatever he is doing,so I know he wont give up.

reet you know what?I also didnot do webpath.and now i think is too late for me.I attempted the exam before and I know one thing.If you know the theory,you dont have to look at the picture to guess what they are talking about,with a few exceptions ofcourse.But it never hurts to do something everyone does.If I got time,may be i will go thru it too.
I am very slow.My husband has a cooking competition at his office and I just came back after finishing all cooking for him.I dont have one kid,I have two kids to take care of and one of them is my husband.He is so over excited about this competition.I hope he wins

Dear malinda
Do not get discourage b/c your NBME result is low.It just indicate you that you need some more time to get their.Work over what you have done till now.And when you read ,read like you are not going to read it again.Do not go to the next subject with out understanding the subject at hand.And concentrate on the high yield topics.Do not waste your time in tiny detail things.
Then give the rest to the almighty.
I am also trying to do the same thing and God help us all.

take it as a challenge and approach ur books with new vigour,concentrate on ur weak areas and you will surely make it
i am trying to get back to studies after a gap and I feel keeping a dairy will help me be on track
