Hi,
I am a Peruvian MD and am requesting a J1 visa as a short-term scholar for a 3-month training in US (cell cultures, to be more exact), I will not be supported by a government institution. I want to apply for a residency position next year. Will I have any problem with visa
Am I subject to the two-year home country permanence before applying to another kind of visa like H? If so, do you know if I can apply to residency with a J1 visa again?
