hi anju,
this is a good question. the thing is that neural crest cells give rse to cartilages of the larnx and remaining connctive tissue is from the mesenchyme of the branchial arches. the neural crest is proven to give rise to atleast a part of the cartilage in the larynx. so actually speaking both areright. but if you get a question you go for neural crest would be safer if asked about cartilages especially.
