primary= vaccination(MMR n dtp in children), hygiene

sec= immunoglobulin(post exposure prophylaxis---tetanus,rabies)

tert= prventing complications--vaccinating HIV + persons wth CD4 <200.

Answer correct.
Primary is before the disease/process encountered, so vaccination qulaifies for it
Secondary: Disease/process encountered but not manifest, so Passive immunization falls in this category
Tertiary: disease manifest, prevent complications

Prevention is not only in the realm of immunology.

Primary- prevent ds.--eg. prenatal parent training, wearing helmet on a cycle, of course immunization

Secondary-to limit the severity of an illness as through early case finding and treatment-eg. Pap smear, B.P.checks. psychotherapy

Tertiary-measure to reduce disability after a patient has a disorder.eg. bone marrow transplant,social skills rehab. training in a schizophrenic patient.
