Infection of appropriate cells with a composite virus made up of Coxsackie virus capsid component and polio virus RNA would yield progeny which would
A. Have the host cell range of Coxsackie irus
B. Also be composite viruses
C. Show phenotypic mixing
D. Have a recombinant genome consisting of both Coxsackie and poliovirus
E. Cross-react with Sabin-vaccine-induced antibodies

the composite virus has just the capsid of the coxsackie virus ...the nuclear material of which is from the polio virus and so this is going to produce those proteins which are produced in the polio virus hence progeny cells are all polio viruses so they will cross react with sabin vaccine induced antibodies

So these composite viruses can infect cells and produce more progeny viruses like the polio virus since the genetic material is all polio. So these viruses which have a coxsackie capsid, after infecting a cell, the capsid is lost upon adsorption, virus is made in the cell, and cell lysis occurs, there will be normal polio virus with a polio capsid as well because that is what is encoded in the polio virus... Is this correct?
