Is there another substrate beside uric acid or calcium pyrophosphate that can cause gout or psuedogout?? If so name the substrate and enzyme deficiency. {This is not an easy question}

in HGPRT deficiency --hyperuricemia occurs.

does this occur in alcholics?

or what is the cause of hyperuricimia in alchoholics?

Yes uric acid is in alcoholics and I think more on wine drinkers
