I passed already the step 1, I hope to take the step 2 ck in may or june, and the step 2 cs in july or august. Can someone tell me when is the properly time to take the cs to apply to the match the sooner, what it is better...to wait to the step 2 ck scores to buy the ck, or buy the step 2 cs since right now...because I read that it will have lacking of available positions to this test.

You're right that the cs positions are on the decline. You will need to have completed the cs by the end of December 2006 in order to match in March 2007. However, if you try to leave it to the last minute, you will likely not get a spot, so apply as early as you can. You don't need your step 2cs to apply and interview, but you will need to have passed it to match.
