hi
I have to take my step2ck again....i wont say i am depressed........coz rather i m more of confused and scared.......may be to fail again! 
anyways....i plan to take it in april/may.
And have made a time table for myself......according to which.....i start from today......and finish my one time kaplan book readings + hopefully kaplan Q-book by march26th (i am working 8 hours daily as well)
Then i plan to take usmleworld for one month ...along with it finish second kaplan book reading! (by 26th april)
Then will have 20 days more....to go through kaplan book again + usmleworld again + kaplan simulator.....and take exam by 15th may!!
And that is all.....i think i can cover till then.
Also....i had taken my step2ck last year.....so dont remeber a word of it from before.....mean basically am starting from scratch!
Do u think with this much time....and prepartion.......and books covered......i stand a chance to get good score???
Guys....score do matter for me this time!
And i have to take it by 15th may for sure......coz i want to apply for 2007 batch for sure!!
PLZ GIVE UR HONEST AND KIND ADVICES!

ur plan sounds okie to me.dont feel bad,learn from ur experiences,work on ur weaker areas,i m sure u ll ace the exam this time .Loads of luck.

No need to be depressed, just read about what your people are going through, is that enough. Even with your problems your more fortunate than millions of russians.
I have experience preparing colleagues to pass USMLE for the last 5 years. If you passed, congrats!! let other people that help is on the way, If you want to know better

I passed my step 2 CK the second time around. It's okay. Just keep your cool. I'm not one to give advice because it happened to me too, but I usually got overwhelmed with the AMOUNT of information. I really had problems with it - really.
I know you probably have taken it by now, but.... for those who are browsing the forum: just follow Henry's advice. You'll be fine if you keep your spirits up. I know for those who failed the exam once, twice or even three times, life seems unbearable. But it WILL get better.
I used the Kaplan books, I used First Aid (I hated it and couldn't like it), I used USMLEWOrld and I used USMLEHelp Step 2CK. The last one helped me with getting an overview and just to review the facts. You can get it on their site (USMLEHelp.com) or on Ebay. It's a simple book, but it's certainly worth the price, I think. I thought Kaplan books were too cumbersome, and I had troubles transitioning from one chapter to another because of the different styles of writing that were evident in the books. I wish they would have all had more clinical examples, etc, etc. I think if I had to sum it up: USMLEWorld.com and USMLEHelp.com helped me the most -- and this forum.
But anyway, just don't lose your steam. Any of you who are out there suffering from the "OMG, I failed!" problem. Life sucks after you find out, but somehow you will find the strength and learn from your mistakes. And eventually, you'll pass. So much sweeter it will be when you do.
